Parco Bugis Junction 23.11.2008

I decided to walk to Bugis after lunch today because want to do window shopping over there. When I reach there, I notice that Camel Active shirts are sold for SGD10 each at a department store. I choose two shirts that I like and then make payment. I just want to buy something which is cheap and as a remembrance for myself for staying in Singapore. I can conclude that Singapore is really well known as a shopping paradise. However, I still prefer to shop at KL when back to Malaysia because of the currency issue.

Parco Bugis Junction is located above Bugis MRT Station, therefore quite convenient for teenagers to go there and spend the whole day over the weekend. The shopping mall is built uniquely around existing historical shop-houses. The glass roof allows sun-light to come in and air-conditioned shopping streets offer me a pleasant and refreshing shopping experience. I can find large number of shops here for fashion, leisure, food & entertainment. The food court is full of people and I can see the chefs busy preparing the delicious food to customers.

There is a dancing water fountain outside the shopping complex. Many kids get themselves wet and have fun there. I don't know why parents allow them to get wet in the public because it is not a swimming pool. Maybe parents will buy new clothes for their kids at the complex to replace their wet clothes?

A beautiful Christmas tree located at the central of the two streets of re-created shop houses. It catches my eyes easily.

The shopping mall is covered with glass ceiling and air-conditioned. It is greatly decorated for the coming Christmas season. This make me think of my lonely Christmas in Manila last year because all my housemates went back to Malaysia for holiday. I guess this year I will be alone for Christmas again in Singapore.

与孤独为伴吧,或许看看有没有朋友可以和我一起消磨时间。应该不会太难过的,已经习惯一个人的生活。
